Brighten up your winter with a bargain golf break
We’ve all been there!! At the 19th hole AT THE CLUB with many golfers’ stories unfolding of how they hate this time of year, the COLD, the RAIN, the DAMP and the shorter hours in which to play 18 holes. Some even suggest they have SAD syndrome SEASONAL EFFECTED DISORDER…… The depression that is our UK winter months.
Well, I for one won’t suffer ’cause I’m off to enjoy golf with others, in the ALGARVE at Vale do Lobo. Sunshine in a pair of shorts and a few short putts, I hope. Want to join me!!!!! I could go on and on…..but it’s all part of banishing winter and being able to meet every one back at the club and continue the bar room stories of how golf should be played……………….in the SUN.
You see I have no SAD syndrome, but golf still depress when you miss that short putt. I best get to see our pro golfer for a lesson or two before I go and tune up my game ready for the fun golf of the CHRISTMAS CRACKER EVENT in DECEMBER.
SEASONALLY EFFECTED? What crackers!!! Well I guess we all suffer a little, but don’t let it spoil this lovely game and let’s forget the DISORDER………………………
