The River Restaurant at Donnington Grove Country Club rests peacefully behind the imposing 18th Century Gothic House. The new development has been sympathetically built to reflect the charm of the estate whilst showcasing the surrounding grounds.

Set among beautiful parkland with the River Lambourn winding through, the River Restaurant encourages members and non-members alike to unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The large restaurant windows provide the opportunity to capture this glorious vista. The fresh, light and airy interior of the River Restaurant provides a modern feel for dinners to enjoy the many delightful menu options.

The River Restaurant menus are the creation of our Head Chef Nico Kiel and offer a variety of flavours and textures. The menu is predominantly European and offers a good choice of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes.

Group bookings (large or small) are welcome and we also cater for those in need of a quick lunch with our Express Menu. This wonderful two or three course menu offers customers on a time limit the opportunity for a ‘quick’ lunch.

We have a well balanced wine menu including wines from all around the World. Wines for every meal and occasion; from a light white to a full bodied red, the Donnington Grove wine list will deliver.
