Donnington Grove Country Club, with its secluded location, elegant architecture and picturesque surroundings, is the perfect venue for any wedding reception. 

You will be looked after by our Event Co-ordinator, who will guide you through each stage of planning, from the first visit to the wedding day itself. 

Our packages are tailor-made to each individual couple and we always endeavour to exceed all of your expectations.  Small enough to offer an intimate and personalised reception and yet still maintain a professional approach, we can ensure that Donnington Grove will give you a day to remember forever.

Civil Wedding Licence

We now hold a Full Licence for Civil Ceremonies.  We have 3 beautiful rooms licensed with the capability to host small ceremonies from 45 people up to larger audiences of 100.  You will need to contact Newbury Registry Office on 01635 279230 to check their availability along with our free dates.  This can be done up to 12 months before your required date.

All three rooms can be set out and designed in a special way if you so wish.  The rooms offer superb views over the grounds and lakes and really are a spectacular way to start your reception.  There is ample parking for your guests and the room rates applicable to hire for the use of a ceremony are generously reduced to couples holding their reception at Donnington Grove.

Arrival Reception

The arrival drinks can be served in the grounds, weather permitting, or in the Kennet Room or Chinese Room depending on numbers.
