Tight fought draw for Mens' Team

The Mens' Interclub Team drew at home against Wokefield Park today. 3 matches went to the wire on the 18th, unfortunately we lost 2 of them. The team was further disrupted by the non-arrival of one member resulting in the Captain Tim Brunsden playing by himself - probably best considering the mood he was in! Nevertheless, everyone fought well and although he managed to get 2 up by the 11th, Tim eventually succumbed on the 17th. The next match is the final match in the Tri-Tournament is away to Manor House on Sunday 12th September. » Read More

Club Captain captures the Midweek Medal!

Club Captain, Richard Lomax, shot his best ever round at DG on Wednesday in the Midweek Medal and took first spot with a gross 76, nett 66. His reward, apart from a Pro Shop voucher in due course, is an immediate cut in handicap to 9! He commented that his score was probably as close as he will ever get to shooting his age.........we're not sure whether he meant nett or gross!
In second place was Simon Smith with a nett 68, after countback, from James Palmer, also with a nett 68.
