Jonathan Yarwood

Jonathan was born in Lincolnshire and has spent much of his working life travelling the world as part of his passion for teaching golf. After a period setting up and leading David Leadbetter’s Academy at Mount Juliet in Ireland, he moved to Florida over 10 years where he has lived ever since. He is recognised as one of the leading golf coaches – voted by Golf Digest as one of the Top 20 Coaches under 40, he is proud have in his list of players’ achievements:
   
•        One US Open Champion
•        One US Open Amateur Champion
•        Two Girls Champions (one being the youngest in the history)
•        A LPGA tour winner
•        A multiple European and Australasian winner including Wentworth World Match Play
•        An Asian Tour winner
•        Four US No 1 juniors
•        One US No 1 female amateur

Jonathan is in constant demand with the Golf media – he has written for Golf Monthly, Golf Punk, has been the leading contributor for Golf Journal in Germany for 8 years and will contribute to Golf International, Golf World and Golf Digest during 2009. He has been a regular guest on The Golf Channel.

Matt Woods

Matt is a native of Newbury and was attached to Donnington Grove as Tour Player – he was a regular on the European and Challenge Tours and has an impressive list of victories as well as a career low round of 58.

Matt was appointed as Director of Instruction at Donnington Grove in May 2008 and has already developed a strong reputation as one of the areas most promising young golf coaches. He spends time assisting Jonathan at The Concession and on tour although his primary role is working with members and clients at Donnington Grove as well as his own stable of elite amateurs. He has already enjoyed great success with some of his clients achieving high profile victories and has already been appointed as a County coach.

He is certified as a JYGA instructor, which is a constant process of ongoing development and assessment.
