It’s just a bit of snow!!

Well even if you are put off by the snow I know you will be missing your golf, don’t forget, for as little as £5 per hour you can hire the indoor room to hone your skills during these unfortunate arctic conditions. If it is outside the Pro-shop opening times you can ask any of the bar staff and they will make sure you can get in.

Dave and his team have done a fantastic job clearing the main drive from the entrance to the front of the hotel and the main roads around the estate are passable; so if you wish to pop in for a January bargain in the pro-shop or a coffee in the bar we would be glad to see you. The kitchen is also operating fully and great food is readily available.

The Jonathan Yarwood Golf Academy rolls on despite the weather outside; England International Max Smith has been in with Matt Woods every day this week to make sure his game doesn’t pick up any bad habits before the season starts. You can get a great deal of 3 lessons for the price of 2 at the moment (all lessons must be taken by 31st March). If you are interested in taking some tuition please call Matt on 01635 581000, he would be pleased to see you.

The course, seriously now, will be closed for the foreseeable future; we will keep you informed via the website as and when the course becomes fit to play. The Pro-Shop will be open between 10am – 2pm everyday and when you do visit please park at the front of the hotel as this is the only area that has been cleared.
