We offer a traditional sit down meal or alternatively we can also cater for more informal styles of wedding. A finger buffet is available for the evening reception; however we also offer the option of a Hog Roast, served on the patio.

Our Head Chef is happy to meet with couples, by appointment, to discuss menu options and if necessary design a menu specifically for you.

Wedding Breakfast

All our menus are usually tailored to suit the Bride and Groom’s requirements and tastes. We offer set menus and our Head Chef will be only too pleased to meet and discuss any questions or queries you might have prior to the Big Day.

Seating Arrangements

Our large beautifully lined marquee can be arranged in various styles, depending on your specific numbers and requirements.  Guests can be seated for dinner in the marquee, using a round top table. 

Table Decorations

We lay all the tables using crisp white table linen, gleaming cutlery and sparkling glasses.  All other table decorations must be provided by you, although we can provide contact names and numbers on request. N.B. A charge of £50 is levied if using small metallic table confetti.

Taster Evening

As a special service particular to Donnington Grove, we will arrange a complimentary “Taster Evening” for the Bride and Groom. This is typically arranged for around 3 months prior to your Wedding Day and the Chef will cook a maximum of two of your choices per course from the Wedding Menu. You are more than welcome of course, to bring additional guests to this taster session, although each additional meal will be charged for.  During your ‘Taster Evening, you will also be given the opportunity to sample a variety of our house wines in order to select your favourites to be ready and on the table at your Wedding Breakfast.  Alternatively you may wish to sample our cellar stock wine list (any choice being chargeable at the ‘Taster’ night).

The Big Day

During the day you will have a dedicated member of staff – normally our Catering Manager – who will be available to you in the months leading up to the wedding to meet with and discuss any arrangements or requirements you may have.  On the day itself they will be there from the moment you arrive until the very end – helping with continuity and assisting you in making sure your day goes according to plan. With this in mind we will ask to liaise with your best man or other people indicated by yourselves during the day enabling you to have a stress free day and not have to even worry about the slightest thing.  We have been holding weddings at Donnington Grove for many years and year after year receive nothing but praise for our food, service and attention to detail.  Please ask to see our many letters of recommendation that we are extremely proud of.
