The Food
The wedding breakfast is so-called because it is the first meal that you will eat together as husband and wife and is therefore the breakfast of your marriage. We offer a traditional sit down meal or alternatively we can also cater for more informal styles of wedding. A finger buffet is available for the evening reception; however we also offer the option of a Hog Roast, served on the patio. We would normally suggest that this be supplemented with another choice. Please contact our Functions Department for more information on menus and choices available.
At Donnington Grove we give you the opportunity to try two menu options, a few months before the wedding, by arranging a complimentary taster evening. During this meal you will also be given the opportunity to sample some of the various house wines which will be available for your wedding reception.
Our Head Chef is happy to meet with couples, by appointment, to discuss menu options and if necessary design a menu specifically for you.
Wedding Breakfast
All our menus are usually tailored to suit the Bride and Groom’s requirements and tastes. We offer set menus starting from just £40 and our Head Chef will be only too pleased to meet and discuss any questions or queries you might have prior to the Big Day.
Seating Arrangements
Our large beautifully lined marquee can be arranged in various styles, depending on your specific numbers and requirements. A maximum of 140 guests can be seated for dinner in the marquee, using a round top table. For smaller weddings it may be more suitable to use the main Kennet Room for dining whilst using the marquee for the evening reception and dancing etc.
Table Decorations
We lay all the tables using crisp white table linen, gleaming cutlery and sparkling glasses. All other table decorations must be provided by you, although we can provide contact names and numbers on request.

We can accommodate either a disco or live band for your evening entertainment, which can be set up in the marquee or the main Kennet Room. A wooden dance floor is available for you included in the price – this is located in the Kennet Room. |

We have 18 hotel rooms in total including the "Honeymoon Suite". Subject to availability of course you're welcome to reserve rooms for your guests. We also have a beautiful selection of suites, each of which will be used on your special day. |

Have You Entered Seniors Open 2010

If you are over 55 and want to take on your peers on a great track, then it’s not too late to enter our Seniors’ Open on Friday, 20th August 2010. Last year the field comprised 90 competitors and we saw a very competitive event.
