
Donnington Grove Country Club
The Donnington Grove Estate is set in a delightful and secluded position on the outskirts of Newbury and is overlooked by the historic Donnington Castle. The present house was built by James Pettit Andrews between 1763 and 1772 to designs by John Chute.
This style is now known as Strawberry Hill Gothic, after the house created for Horace Walpole in Twickenham.

The Oktoberfest Team Stableford - Thursday, 14th October

Following the success of this popular themed event, we are holding it again this year. Oktoberfest is a 4-Ball Team Stableford open to all handicap golfers. The entry fee has not increased and is £39.50 (£20 for members). The day starts with coffee & bacon rolls on arrival, followed by 18 holes of ‘team’ golf on our outstanding course and concludes with an informal dinner when prizes will be presented.
